However, for this item, I went outside my comfort zone of using Amazon. The gift was expected on 12/22, just before Christmas for a family member returning to Italy on 12/26. I paid for expedited shipping to ensure it arrived on time. I received an email on 12/22/25 that it was delayed, ordered outside the timely requirement of arriving before Christmas. I should have been told this when placing the order.
It arrived on 1/2/25.

I love it! Can’t wait to give it to my boyfriend of 8 months. We are in our late 60’s, and had both lost our spouses in 2023 - each of nearly 50 years of marriage. We were acquaintances, both attending same church, our daughters are same age and he worked at the same company as my husband for 40 years. After our spouses died we were very lonesome, not sure where to go next. He called to see how I was doing but I didn’t answer the phone. I wasn’t ready. But on a very tearful day, God spoke to me and told me that it wasn’t my time to go and that Life is so beautiful! We were both very lonesome, but we each have our dog. His labmix is Bella and my aussiedoodle is Cooper. So one day Cooper & I walked past his house. He & Bella were outside & the rest is history. We are now inseparable and are having the time of our new lives together with our doggies. In the picture we are looking to the future, with his dog by my side and mine by his side.
